Hey guys,

Bit of a random question... I moved from Tasmania up to the Gold Coast in Australia about a year ago, and since being near the beaches all the time I go skating during the day, then in the arvo head down to the beach and skimboard.

Any of you guys tried it? It's mad fun. I've seen videos of guys who've put "sky-hook" toe straps (similar to the old school Snakeboard straps) on their boards and do crazy flips off waves n shit...

Just wondering if anyone else out there rides them?

Well for me it was either buy a skimboard or a streetboard and i got a streetboard. But i still have a cheap skimboard that i ride a bit.
I want to get a proper one though, because skimboarding is mad fun.
